Last week I had the pleasure of attending my first ENR FutureTech in San Francisco at the Grand Hyatt. The conference started on Tuesday May 30th and went through June 1st. This has always been an event on my radar but this year I was lucky enough to be accepted as a speaker so I made the trip across country to attend.

Software that uses artificial intelligence to help spot health and safety breaches on site is being trialled by a number of contractors including Skanska, delegates at the Autodesk University conference in London heard last week.
Josh Kanner, founder of US-based Smartvid.io, said that by analysing pictures and video from projects companies could search for poor practice in a fraction of the time it would take if done manually.
